Sylvie Běláková
Research Institute of Brewing and Malting


Sylvie Běláková graduated from Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Chemistry, majoring in food chemistry and biotechnology. The topic of her dissertation was mycotoxins in brewery raw materials and beer. Since 2007 she has been working at the Research Institute of Brewing and Malting. One of the topics of her research work are contaminants (natural toxins, process contaminants and pesticides) in food of plant origin. She is a member of the Food Safety and Consumer Confidence Committee of the Czech Food Technology Platform.
